The Hate U Give Movie Screening | January 17 | 6 p.m. | Free and open to the public

Lincoln School is proud to present a screening of the critically acclaimed movie The Hate U Give, based on the lauded book of the same name. Free and open to the public, the screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Rhode Island leaders to explore and reflect on the themes and messages of the film. 

Panelists include:

  • Jordan Seaberry—Director of Public Policy and Advocacy, Institute for the Study and Practice of Nonviolence
  • Karla Vigil—Co–founder and Cheif Connector, EduLeaders of Color RI
  • Justice Gaines—Community Organizer/Labor Rights Activist & Poet, Providence Youth Student Movement (PYSM)
  • Amber Bennett—Lower School Faculty & Project Lit Organizer, Lincoln School
