- Lincoln Love
Friday afternoon alumnae, faculty, and former faculty joined Head of School Sophie Glenn Lau ’88 at a virtual event to honor Lincoln School faculty, past and present. The event, aptly titled Simply the Best, was organized by the Alumnae Association and the Office of Advancement and featured Mih-Ho Cha Neenan ’81, Interim President of the Alumnae Association and Immediate Past President, and Kathryn Ramstad ’07, Incoming Co-President of the Alumnae Association. Esteemed panelists Robin Kirkwood Auld, former PE faculty and coach, Joan Countryman, former head, Sarah Fogarty, former science faculty, John Minahan, current faculty, and Connie Worthington ’62, former English faculty, gathered to discuss their time at Lincoln and the central role of faculty in its evolution over the last century.
“It's just extraordinary how these threads and these people connect through Lincoln School. I’m ever grateful.” —Connie Worthington ’62
Panelists shared their favorite Lincoln memories and answered alumnae questions, and everyone enjoyed seeing many familiar faces. The event closed with a moving video produced by the Alumnae Association, which we are proud to share with the community.
“It's really well documented that there's a correlation between leadership and playing sport, but it's not an automatic. It really has to be nurtured. Lincoln School athletes really made my early coaching experience very rewarding because players accepted that challenge.” —Robin Kirkwood Auld
