Middle School Athletes Work on Speed and Agility

New to Lincoln this fall, Grades 5-8 were offered Speed and Agility training in between fall and winter sports seasons. Over 35 students signed up for the two-week training session, looking to prepare themselves for their upcoming seasons.

"Speed and Agility allowed student-athletes to improve footwork skills that can be used to elevate play in all sports. This season our athletes were focused, competitive, and driven to improve their individual abilities. For such a short season, we saw tremendous growth in each athlete", reported Coach Mary McConnell.

"These students brought their A game to each practice, were able to learn some new skills, and improved their existing abilities. This was a great opportunity for those younger student-athletes to extend their fall seasons and prepare for whatever comes next", said Coach Kelly Coccio.

Both coaches led the Middle School Cross Country team this past fall season.

Winter sports at Lincoln School begin on November 30. We look forward to cheering our US and MS student-athletes on at their upcoming competitions! Click here to view the calendar and shop for Lincoln Athletics gear.
