Lower School Zooms Into the Summer

We celebrated the end of another successful year at Lower School with a Zoom celebration on Friday, June 5! All of the students in the class of 2027 joined each other on screen, just like they would have been together on stage, and attendees were all able to see their faces and celebrate with them. The Lower School faculty and staff worked hard to keep the traditions of The Lower School Closing Exercises in place virtually, and a good time was had by all.

Lower School Director Maureen Devlin reflected on this class as ”one that sets goals and reaches them–with verve, spirit, and enthusiasm.” In her words, “your skills, knowledge, and understanding of the world grow every year and it is amazing to watch and be a part of it. This year especially you have come together with more drive and initiative, and all of your teachers have noticed that you have made the most out of remote learning.”

Ms. Devlin went on to thank all Lower School parents for their partnership during this spring and as Lower School parents. The Grade 5 teachers Kaitlin Palmieri and Erica Cross spoke to this class about their friendly, caring, welcoming, and resilient spirit during this year.

See you next year!
