New Little School Faculty

Megan Bastow

Megan is originally from NE Connecticut but now lives in Providence with her husband, Dylan, and her cat, Oliver. She graduated in 2019 from Arcadia University with a Bachelor’s degree in History, though, too, thoroughly enjoyed studying French and Art History. In her free time, Megan is either hiking, reading, or exploring the historical charm (and coffee!) of downtown Providence. Megan has always marveled at the joy children have for the smallest discoveries, and she is excited to join the Lincoln team as a teacher in the Little School!

Renee Lisa

My name is Renee Lisa. I joined the Little School this past June as a teacher in the Infant classroom. I am a mom of 4 grown daughters. I previously worked in the financial industry and at a boarding school with middle and upper school students. I am excited to be here and look forward to working with your children.

Chantelle Micheli

My name is Chantelle Micheli and I am so excited to join the Little School. I was born and raised in a small town in Vermont. I spent my undergrad years studying psychology and child development at Eastern Nazarene College. After college I spent several years as a full time nanny which then led me to pursue a career as an early childhood teacher.

I have always believed that children are the best teachers. Their curiosity and excitement for learning is contagious. Children are intelligent, brave and ambitious explorers and learners. The Reggio Emilia approach allows the child to partner alongside the teacher to create a genuine learning experience.

Outside of the classroom I love spending time with my husband, daughter and our rescue pup. We enjoy weekend trips to Vermont, exploring RI beaches, bike rides and relaxing in our backyard.

Kate Ryan

Hello! I am Kate Ryan and I am thrilled to be a part of the Little Lincoln School team this year! Originally from Boston, MA, I grew up in love with the arts and always saw my future in teaching children. I spent my most recent years teaching Reggio Emilia Philosophy in Breckinridge and Boulder, Colorado and finished my degree this past spring in early childhood education. In my free time I enjoy snowboarding, music and hanging out with my family.

Lorraine Procaccini

My name is Lorraine Procaccini and I will be joining the Little School. While I'm originally from New Jersey, I feel like a Rhode Island native and I love living here! I currently reside in North Kingstown with my husband, Dan, and my 5 year old daughter, Olivia, who will be attending Kindergarten at Lincoln in the fall. My formal education and background is in communications, and I worked in that field up until Olivia was born. I had the great fortune to stay home with her, and during that time, I re-discovered my passion for early childhood education. I have spent the last several years at a private learning center in East Greenwich, and I am looking forward to joining the Lincoln community. I truly value the Little School's child-directed, joyful learning philosophy, and I am very excited to bring my own compassionate and nurturing spirit to your little ones! Some of my favorite things are yoga, gardening, cooking, and walking our 2 year-old dog, Ruby.
