Expert Opinion: Author and Doctor Siddhartha Mukherjee, MD Spoke to a Crowd of 600+
Siddhartha Mukherjee, MD, author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer, one of TIME’s All-Time Top 100 Nonfiction Books, and the New York Times #1 bestseller The Gene: An Intimate History, spoke to a rapt crowd at Lincoln School on October 18.
 
This event, which attracted over 600 people to the Boss Gym, is part of Lincoln’s Bold Voices Speaker Series and is presented thanks to the Alexis Allen Boss ’89 Endowment for Community Accord and Public Service.
 
Named one of TIME’s 100 most influential people, Mukherjee writes with a genre-bending approach that combines science and research with personal experience, creating moving and accessible works of nonfiction. Not just an author, but also a pioneering physician, biologist, oncologist, and professor, Mukherjee spoke to the community about his life, work, research, and medical advances past, present, and future.
