‘Arthur’ Creator and Author Marc Brown Is Coming to Campus!

'Arthur' creator and author Marc Brown is one of dozens of noteworthy guests coming to campus on Saturday as a part of The Rhode Island Festival of Children’s Books & Authors, hosted at Lincoln School.

According to a recent Providence Journal article, Brown plans to read new book “Mary McScary,” his second collaboration with “Goosebumps” maestro R.L. Stine. He calls the title character “powerful, strong,” and a good role model—we have no doubt she'll fit right in at Lincoln!

The Rhode Island Festival of Children’s Books & Authors takes place Saturday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ($5 admission) and kicks off with a movie premier of So B. It followed by a signing of the book by the same name by author Sarah Weeks.
