Acting Camp
Calling all thespians—join us at Lincoln's Acting Camp! Students will learn about the various aspects of the world of theater by exploring improvisational games, vocal and physical techniques, scripted material, script writing, and the creation of sets, props, and costumes. Each week culminates in a different performance for family and friends!

AI for Girls
Campers will cultivate their own creativity by doing projects like creating AI symphonies, working with partners and AI to create animated books, and generating AI animations. Along the way, they’ll gain access to a suite of tools that can help with homework in the future, build familiarity with the new AI world we’re moving into, and—importantly— understand when and when not to use this powerful tool.

Clay Creations
Come to Lincoln this summer and learn clay handbuilding techniques or reinforce the handbuilding techniques you already know and use! All levels are welcome to come and explore how amazing the media of clay can be. This five-day class (spanning two different weeks) will be focusing on each student's imagination as they create functional pieces and clay creatures. Each clay piece will be designed and based on students' creative concepts, thoughts, and ideas.

Coding: Build Your Own App
In this hands-on coding and tech club, campers will learn the skills of a coder and the mindset of an entrepreneur through building apps—both your own app and also an app for local nonprofits. You’ll create new apps and games every week, a chance to expand your tech skills and do something good for the world! Previous students have been covered in multiple local news outlets for apps they've built for homeless shelters, veterinarians, and local climate nonprofits!

Cooking Around the World
In this unique cooking class for young kids, students learn about food: how to make it, how to make it safely, and how to use it for good! They’ll meet new friends and cook some (oven-less) recipes from all six inhabited continents. Everything they cook will be easy to make and suitable for after-school cooking.

Eco Warriors
Discover nature through art, science, and the great outdoors! Campers will explore baby animals, camouflage, plants, weather, and even music and engineering through the lens of nature with a different theme each week! Campers will embark on short field trips around our beautiful campus on the East Side of Providence and venture out to Blackstone Park. Full-day campers will be given a chance for rest time or activities like water play, arts and crafts, reading, and playground time.

Girls Leadership Collaborative
In this signature camp which begins with a high and low ropes course, this immersive experience includes developing mindsets and teachable skills to step up and lead. Facilitators utilize the Gallup Strengths Explorer tool, group challenges, and engaging activities designed to foster self- expression and productive risk-taking. Using brain-based, research-driven short micro-sessions, girls learn the neurobiology and drivers of decision-making, risk-taking, and blind spots.

Girls Learning Workshop
Keep it fresh this summer with a one-of-a-kind, all-girls camp that will reinforce grade-level reading, writing, and math skills in a fun, hands-on way! Campers will play math games outdoors, observe nature to inspire writing, and go on learning scavenger hunts. At the end of each week, the girls will take home a compilation of their writing and a set of games they can play at home to reinforce skills until the school year starts up again.

Girls on the Run
Camp Girls on the Run (GOTR) at Lincoln School provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for youth to develop self-confidence and learn life skills in a cheerful, energetic, and collaborative environment. In this week-long, half-day camp, students heading into Grades 3–5 will build friendships through interactive games, enjoy physical activities, and express creativity through crafts and storytelling.

Graphic Design
Campers will learn graphic design skills by doing projects for local nonprofits or small businesses! They will learn how to make professional posters and art and ultimately design for real organizations with good causes. Our students' work has been used in ads and online Instagram posts by the Special Olympics, Martha's Kitchen, and local shelters.

Lacrosse
It’s summer, let’s play some lacrosse! Perfect for students newer to the game, campers will have the opportunity to improve and refine every facet of their lacrosse game. As a key sport for Lincoln School, girls will get hands-on coaching and instruction to improve stick skills and their understanding of the game as well as obtaining a higher lacrosse IQ and overall athleticism.

Let's Get Sculpting
Students in this class will put their creative and critical thinking skills to work to create both larger and smaller sculptures made out of wire and plaster! Campers will leave this class with beautiful pieces that are inspired by objects found in the natural world.

LEGO Engineering
The fan-favorite LEGO Engineering camp is back! Come learn about different brick building techniques, how to create technically strong structures, and experiment with your creative side with RI local Christine (aka Tacos), who was a contestant on the hit LEGO building competition series LEGO Masters Season 3.

Photography
Has your child ever wanted to be a photographer? Well, this is the perfect opportunity! In this camp, campers will earn the basics of photography, in all of its forms. Key areas of focus will be learning about composition, lighting, and other core strategies that allow professionals to take incredible photos. Campers will also get to take pictures of campus, go on nature tours, and even make beautiful creations for local businesses!

Sports Smorgasbord
Campers will put their bodies in motion, and release surplus energy in a way that will help them be more present back at home. Along the way, they’ll practice teamwork, communication, and emotional self-regulation skills that will help them everywhere, not just on the field or court. It’s sure to be a great time!

STEAMx
In this camp, students will engage in hands-on experiences with all of the different facets of STEAM—Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Architecture, and Math. Held in one of our designated STEAM labs, campers will end their week with a well-rounded understanding of this unique way of thinking as it applies to the theme of the week. Come to all three weeks to learn different methods of engaging in STEAMx!

Ultimate Frisbee
Ultimate Frisbee is one of the fastest growing sports in the US! In addition to being an athletic and welcoming activity, ultimate has a unique collaborative ruleset where players help enforce the rules together that fosters cooperation and growth. Together we’ll learn the game, play together, and discover how to be diligent and overcome challenges through repeated tournament play.

Weird Nature Science
In this camp, campers will learn about physics and the natural world through fun, easy science experiments that you can take home. We’ll learn about states of matter through building volcanos and about sound through creating ‘naturally occurring’ speakers. Along the way, we’ll be taking our experiments outside in order to improve the environment at our school by planting simple gardens and making bird feeders.
