Introduction to Engineering (LITE) at Brown University, is a college-level course offered to Lincoln Upper School students. This credit-bearing program is taught at Brown University and is facilitated by the Brown Engineering teaching team. Lincoln’s partnership with Brown supports Lincoln's longstanding commitment to the growth and development of women in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Architecture and Mathematics) fields.

Lincoln’s partnership with Brown University is a very special one. It gives our girls the opportunity to try out engineering for a semester in a non-intimidating way. They work alongside their peers but they have access to Brown and its design workshop as they learn what a college-level engineering course is like.
