Lincoln School Holds Civics Day

On October 9, Lincoln School will host a dynamic Civics Day, bringing together incredible community members, organizations, and our very own talented teachers and staff to lead engaging, non-partisan workshops on civics education for the Middle and Upper School students. There will be activities for our Lower School students, too.

We are excited to announce that Nellie Gorbea P'21, '24, '28, President and CEO of Puerto Rico Green Energy Trust and former Secretary of State of Rhode Island, will be our Keynote Speaker for the day!

Students will have the opportunity to dive into meaningful discussions and hands-on activities, all centered on the importance of civic participation. To add an exciting twist, we'll even have real voting booths where students in Lower, Middle, and Upper School can cast their ballots on pressing matters such as which Rhode Island event reigns supreme! This day promises to be a fun, interactive, and educational experience for all.
