Two members of the Class of 2024-Lucy L. and Maya C.-were named National Merit Semifinalists in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. Of the 1.3 million high school juniors who took the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), students receiving this recognition are among the 16,000 students nationwide to be named as a semifinalist. Semifinalists have the opportunity to advance to the finalist level and finalists will be named in February. National Merit Finalists are eligible for National Merit Scholarships as well as college-sponsored merit scholarship awards. Congratulations, Lucy and Maya!
