Bienvenidos a España! Arabic and French teacher Mary Briden’s journey through Spain explored the rich history of Al-Andalus, delving into Arab influences on the region’s culture, architecture, food, and art. She plans to share her experiences with her students, including exploring mosaic design and Arabic calligraphy, to enrich their understanding of this cultural legacy.
Thanks to the generosity of the Hibbitt/Rockwell Fund Travel Fellowship, members of the Lincoln faculty have participated in amazing travel experiences this summer. These adventures not only are enriching faculty teaching, but their passion and enthusiasm for travel is contagious with our students. Our community has loved learning about the unique adventures of our Lincoln travelers!
