Starting in Kindergarten, students enrolled at Lincoln School are expected to adhere to the following dress code.
The green-and-blue plaid kilt (or jumper) has long been a symbol of attendance at Lincoln School. The jumper and kilt are worn with pride, and signify our belief in the value of removing the issues of materialism and choice from the morning routine with uniform, simple, and practical clothing. The kilt, worn with approved shirts, shoes, sweaters, and sweatshirts, reinforces the Quaker tenets of simplicity and equity. Avoiding extravagance and ostentation enhances everyone’s focus on the schoolwork at hand.
