Rhode Island may be the smallest state, but it boasts one of the largest and best book festivals in the nation. Thousands of people come to the Rhode Island Festival of Children’s Books & Authors each year to meet acclaimed authors and illustrators from all corners of the country. This year’s festival will be a year-round virtual celebration featuring authors and illustrators who have a Rhode Island connection. All author events will be conducted via Zoom. These free talks are open to the public and will include book giveaways, book signings, and activities. The events are co-hosted by Lincoln School.

Author talks will occur virtually during the school day to encourage classroom, library and learning pod attendance.

If you would like to purchase a signed copy of any of the books featured in the Festival they are available at Barrington Books in Barrington RI.

The Festival celebrates the unique joy that can only be found by opening the pages of a book.
