As the only girls' school based on Quaker values in the United States, Lincoln honors the value of each individual while centering the Quaker values of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship (SPICES).

Welcome to Lincoln School!

When you visit Lincoln, you will be greeted by the sights and sounds of students actively engaged in deep learning, from our youngest Little School learners exploring the outdoors, to our Upper School students designing and creating in the STEAMx Hub. At Lincoln, we are truly able to offer the best of both worlds: a purposefully small school that allows every student to be known and loved, while also offering expansive opportunities for learning and growth, helmed by an exceptional faculty.

Lincoln has long been situated at the intersection of tradition and innovation. Founder Mrs. Ann Ives Carrington Ames created our school because she wanted her daughter to have the opportunity to attend a “real school”—a bold intention in the late nineteenth century. In the twenty-first century, we live up to our founder’s vision as we create ample opportunities for girls and young women to thrive—as scholars, athletes, artists, leaders, and citizens.

As the only girls' school based on Quaker values in the United States, Lincoln honors the value of each individual while centering the Quaker tenets of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship (SPICES). At Lincoln, girls believe they can both have and achieve ambitious goals, because they see other girls doing that every single day. This foundation grounds us and helps our students see themselves as responsible citizens of the world around them.

I hope that you will explore Lincoln to see our dynamic school in action—I look forward to welcoming you through the red doors!

As a student, Lincoln was where I found my voice and learned how to be a leader. As an alumna, I have watched Lincoln’s incredible trajectory with a great sense of pride and enthusiasm. As head of school, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this extraordinary school and to champion the power of girls' education on a national scale.

'Uniquely Lincoln' - A Strategic Vision for a Bold Future
