“The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.”

At Lincoln School, STEAM is more than just Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math—it is a way of thinking and learning. Our own STEAMx paradigm goes even further, emphasizing not only how to learn—how to formulate questions, how to investigate, how to experiment, how to create—but how to engage the creative process in developing different methods for all of those activities.

STEAMx Spark, a free half-day STEAM extravaganza for children in Kindergarten through Grade 8 and their families brings this innovative approach love of learning to the entire community. The program features hands-on robotics workshops (with tracks for K–2, 3–5, and 6–8), interactive STEAM exhibits, and more!
