As the only girls' school based on Quaker values in the United States, Lincoln honors the value of each individual while centering the Quaker values of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship (SPICES).
At Lincoln, we measure the success of our athletic teams beyond the standings and scoreboards, by highlighting the dedication of our athletes and coaches, our outstanding leadership from our school administrators, and a sense of pride fostered by the entire Lincoln community.
We strive to compete and excel in highly competitive leagues for all of our teams, while providing a personal experience for each athlete that will teach life lessons and accountability that will separate them from their peers well after their high school years.
I believe participation in athletics should provide a transformative experience for each athlete regardless of level of talent or experience. Each and every athlete can learn about themselves in ways that other aspects of their life may not explore or reveal.
Our athletes learn about accountability and how their presence impacts others in a deep way! By participating on teams, we can weave excellence into every aspect while creating a positive environment for every student athlete.
As a department, we work tirelessly to foster a feeling of camaraderie and unity among all of our teams. I believe in creating an expectation that fairness, equality, and sportsmanship are woven through the fabric of all of Lincoln athletics.
When you wear a Lincoln jersey you will be respected, valued, challenged, and encouraged to become the best version of yourself for your team and your community!
Lincoln Athletics Director
At their core, athletics are a marker of individual character—how hard you work, how you listen to coaches and others, and how you willingly surrender your individual focus to the team focus.
