Three Levels for campers

ROOKIE

This level will focus on having fun, being active and learning the basic fundamental skills of basketball.
Basic Skills Emphasized:

  • Dribbling
  • Passing
  • Shooting 

STARTER

This level will continue to develop fundamental skills and expand on a broader understanding of the game (both offensive and defensive strategies). Players will develop an understanding of what it means to be a part of a team.
Basic Skills Emphasized:

  • Fundamentals (dribbling, passing, shooting)
  • Footwork
  • Teamwork
  • Strategies of the game (offense & defense)
  • Positive attitude/Discipline

ALL-STAR

Players will begin to develop strength, quickness and the ability to better react to game situations. Practices will shift to team concepts and more emphasis on competition, while still emphasizing skill development.

Basic Skills Emphasized:

  • Offensive skills
  • Defensive concepts
  • Footwork
  • Rebounding
  • Conditioning
