As the only girls' school based on Quaker values in the United States, Lincoln honors the value of each individual while centering the Quaker values of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship (SPICES).
The Murray Family Athletic Complex at Faxon Farm
Our 33-acre athletic facility, the Murray Family Athletic Complex at Faxon Farm, is a 15-minute drive away from our Butler Avenue campus, in Rehoboth, MA. The complex has the only synthetic turf field lined only for girls' sports in Southeastern New England, two natural turf fields, also lined only for girls, and six all-weather tennis courts (The Boss Family Tennis Center).
An ideal place to play and watch sports, the sprawling greenspace provides a beautiful background for any game. It’s also a thriving community space, home to field days, dances, gatherings, and even an archeological dig on occasion!
Boss Gymnasium
Lincoln’s Boss Gym, a cornerstone of Lincoln’s Butler Avenue campus, is a second home to all of our winter basketball athletes. Both our Middle and Upper School players practice and host basketball games throughout the colder months. Other indoor athletics are hosted at the gym, such as Middle School speed and agility training sessions and our crew team’s land training (erg machines, weights, bands, etc.).
Lincoln School’s Physical Education program for all of our Lower and Middle school students use the gym daily throughout the school year. It’s also a hub for many other activities, classes, and community events.
Fox Point Boys & Girls Club
Lincoln’s swimming program utilizes the pool at Fox Point Boy & Girls club, located in the nearby Providence neighborhood. Because both our Middle and Upper School programs use this location daily, it provides a unique mentor opportunity for our youngest swimmers to witness our more experienced swimmers in action.
Squash
Lincoln squash athletes train at the gorgeous Agawam Hunt Country Club during the winter months. This is a great off-campus experience for our athletes to explore, just minutes away from our Providence campus. Three squash courts are used for our athletes at one of the finest facilities in Southern New England.
Narragansett Boat Club (NBC)
Lincoln is one of only two schools in Rhode Island that offers their student-athletes an opportunity to compete in crew. We row daily out of the NBC boathouse, just a short walk down the street from Butler Avenue. Because the boathouse is so close, our team can train daily, whether on the Providence River or on the dry land of Lincoln campus.
