Tuition & Fees
Lincoln School's tuition and fees are commensurate with the unique independent school value that we offer.
In addition, Lincoln’s need-based financial aid program supports our commitment to the shared investment in your child’s education. We recognize that when choosing an independent school for your child, this investment may play an important role in a family’s decision. The Lincoln leadership team and Board of Trustees are committed to making a Lincoln education accessible to any families who are accepted into our program.

Financial Aid
Lincoln School seeks to enroll a diverse and talented student body, and our strong commitment to our financial aid program supports this mission. Financial Aid applications are considered for admission applicants and current students entering Nursery (3 year old) - Grade 12, and aid is awarded based on financial need and availability of funding. Please note financial aid is not available for Little School, and is limited to Nursery and PreK.
Lincoln partners with Clarity Financial Aid Platform to determine a family’s level of financial need based on information shared by families in their application, which includes factors such as income, assets, household size, expenses, and debts.
For support completing the application please email at support@
To complete a financial aid application for 2025-26:
- Visit the Clarity Application to create an account.
- Complete the online application.
- The application typically takes < 30 minutes to complete, and is mobile-friendly.
- An application can be started, saved, and returned to at another time for completion.
- The parent(s)’ 2023 Form 1040 and W2 documents will be automatically transferred from the IRS to the schools selected upon completion of the verification step in the application; these documents need not be uploaded manually.

Does financial aid impact my child’s chances of being admitted?
The Admissions Committee makes determinations regarding admission without knowledge of who may have applied for financial aid. However, there is no guarantee that a student will receive financial aid if admitted, as the amount of aid depends on (1) the family’s eligibility and (2) the amount of funds available. Typically, more students qualify for admission and financial aid than can be funded in Lincoln’s initial financial aid application process (deadline: December 31). In these cases, students may be placed on a wait list. In the event of additional funds later becoming available, some students who were waitlisted may subsequently be offered admission with financial aid awards.
How is aid determined for parents who are divorced, separated, or were never married?
The expectation is that both parents contribute to the cost of education for their child to the extent of their ability. Both parents should complete a separate Clarity Financial Aid Application.
If there are extenuating circumstances regarding the non custodial parent, please contact Sue Farnum, Director of Strategic Initiatives, at sfarnum@lincolnschool.org to provide more details.
What kind of aid is awarded?
When should I apply for aid?
Do I need to apply for aid every year? Is my aid renewable?
Every family must apply for financial aid each year as our financial aid is awarded based on the current year financial situation of a family. However, if a family's financial circumstances remain essentially the same from year to year, one may expect to receive a similar amount of financial assistance. A significant change in a family's financial situation may result in a change in a family’s financial aid eligibility and aid offered.
When are financial aid awards made available?
Are there conditions of financial aid awards?
When are tuition and fees due?
- New students: An enrollment fee of $500 per student is due – along with a signed enrollment contract– to accept an offer of admission and hold a space in the class.
- Returning students: The re-enrollment fee ($500 per student) is due with a signed re-enrollment contract by early February of each year for the year ahead.
There are 3 options for paying tuition. First payments are due in July prior to the school year.
Are there payment plans available?
Lincoln School offers three different options to pay annual tuition through FACTS:
- Option 1—Full Payment Plan (Pay your tuition in full through FACTS by July 20)
- Option 2—Two Payment Plan (Pay your tuition in two installments–60% is due on July 20, and the remaining 40% is due on November 20)
- Option 3—Monthly Payment Plan (Once you receive your FACTS tuition invoice, you can enroll in a 10-month payment plan that begins in July)
FACTS Payment Plans:
Lincoln School works with FACTS Management Company to process tuition payments. Every enrolled family will be required to sign up for this service. The benefits of this service include automatic re-enrollment from year to year, as well as various payment options, including automatic payment plans with two payment dates per month, use of a credit card, and billing of most incidental fees that occur outside the tuition charges. In late May, you will receive an email from FACTS with instructions about how to create an online account and update your financial information.
Automatic payments will be processed from a checking account, savings account, or credit card on the 5th or 20th of each month. Please be assured that neither FACTS nor the school will have direct access to or any knowledge about the status of your bank account. It is simply a pre-authorized bank-to-bank transfer of funds.
Students will not be considered enrolled at Lincoln School until you have established an online account with FACTS and have selected your payment plan option.
Although Lincoln does not accept cash or credit card payments for tuition and fees directly, credit card payments can be arranged through FACTS. Billing questions should be directed to the Business Office at businessoffice@lincolnschool.org.
If any step of this process is unclear, please do not hesitate to contact the Business Office at businessoffice@lincolnschool.org.
