Gender Admission Guidelines
Lincoln will consider applications from students who identify as girls or young women, regardless of their biological sex, for Kindergarten–Grade 12 and will not consider applications from students who identify as boys or young men, regardless of their biological sex. Lincoln remains coed for the early childhood program.
Should a current Lincoln student begin to identify as a boy or young man, the school will work in partnership with the student and family to provide support and counsel to determine the next steps in the student’s academic journey.
These guidelines, consistent with the National Coalition of Girls Schools (NCGS) and NCGS member schools, apply to all Lincoln students and applicants starting with the 2018/19 academic year.
While we know every student’s path looks different, Lincoln will value the safety and respect of all members of our community, no matter their gender identity. Lincoln will continue to be an inclusive space where our students grow academically and personally, building characteristics and traits that will serve them throughout life.
