Engaging girls in active exploration.

The Lower School Academic Program engages girls in active exploration of the world around them. 

In Kindergarten, students enjoy the addition of Science class to their schedules, including the start of the Save the Bay program that students participate in throughout their Lower School years.

In English Language Arts (ELA) and Math classes, we also introduce scheduled times with the Lower School Learning Specialist and Math Specialist, who work with K–5 students and teachers to plan engaging lessons that meet students where they are and challenge them appropriately.

In Grades 1 and 2, students dig deeper into their foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and more.

Classroom teachers and specialists monitor student progress and will partner with families to support students where they are in their learning.
