Careers at Lincoln School
At Lincoln School, we don’t just talk about community—we live it every day. As an independent school rooted in the Quaker values of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship (SPICES), our mission is to empower girls to fearlessly embrace the opportunities and responsibilities of full citizenship in a complex and ever-changing world. That mission is woven into everything we do, creating an environment that’s intellectually vibrant, deeply supportive, and full of purpose.
Working at Lincoln means being part of something truly special. Our faculty and staff are passionate, collaborative, and endlessly creative. Whether inside the classroom or out on the field, in staff meetings or informal hallway chats, there’s a shared sense of joy and commitment to helping students—and each other—thrive. It’s a place where curiosity is celebrated, innovation is encouraged, and laughter is part of the daily rhythm.
Here, students experience rigorous academics in a close-knit setting that allows them to be seen, known, and supported as individuals. The same goes for our team: as a member of the Lincoln community, you’ll be welcomed, valued, and inspired to grow both personally and professionally.
We also believe that diverse perspectives fuel meaningful learning and powerful connections. Lincoln School values difference and is committed to building a community that reflects a wide range of identities and experiences, including—but not limited to—age, religion, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical ability, socioeconomic background, and family structure.
If you’re excited by the idea of making a difference in a dynamic, mission-driven environment—and having a whole lot of fun along the way—we’d love to hear from you.
Lincoln School provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability or genetics, as well as any other legally protected status. Teaching at Lincoln is meaningful to me; it's more than a job.
I've told my students that I hope they find their "Lincolns" -- places where they believe in the mission, where they're taken seriously as early-career young women, and where they're able to grow.
