Lincoln School is located on Providence's East Side at
301 Butler Avenue with the main entrance on East Orchard Avenue. 

From the North - Boston, New Hampshire, Maine etc.
Take I-95 south into Rhode Island
Take Exit 27 - Pawtucket/North Providence
At end of exit ramp, turn left at traffic light and cross over highway
Go straight through the next two traffic lights
Note that they are right next to one another

The road appears to fork with a traffic light in each direction
Bear left at the fork through the light (East Avenue)
Road corners to the right after which there is a CVS
Go a distance and then straight through the next traffic light (Gulf station on right)
Go straight through the next traffic light also (Shell station on right)
You will see a park ahead of you and a divided boulevard on the left.
Take the left between the park and the boulevard's island (Blackstone Boulevard)
Follow Blackstone Boulevard to the end where it joins Butler Avenue
Back of the School will be directly in front of you
Pass the school and take the first left onto East Orchard Avenue
The red doors of the main entrance will be on your left near the flagpole

From the West - Routes #6, 44, 101 and #146: Worcester, Springfield, etc.
Take Routes #146, #6, #44 and #101 to Route #95 south
Take Exit 20 - Route #195 east (exit on left side of highway)
Take Exit 2 (Wickenden Street)
At end of ramp at light, turn left onto Wickenden Street.
Follow Wickenden Street straight up the hill through two traffic lights.
Continue on Wickenden until it ends at Gano Street at which you must turn left or right.

Turn left onto Gano Street
Straight through one traffic light and one blinking light
At next traffic light, turn right onto Pitman Street
Continue two blocks and take a left at traffic light onto Butler Avenue
Eastside Marketplace on the right
Go six short blocks (through two traffic lights) to East Orchard Avenue
School will be on right
Turn right onto East Orchard Avenue
The red doors of the main entrance will be on your left near the flagpole

From South - Connecticut, New York, etc.
I-95 north to Exit 19 -  I-195 east
Take Exit 3 (Gano Street - last exit before crossing bridge - NO exits 1 and 2)
Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Gano Street
Straight through one traffic light and one blinking light
At next traffic light, turn right onto Pitman Street

Continue two blocks and take a left at traffic light onto Butler Avenue
Eastside Marketplace on the right
Go six short blocks (through two traffic lights) to East Orchard Avenue
School will be on right
Turn right onto East Orchard Avenue
The red doors of the main entrance will be on your left near the flagpole

From East - Rts. #44, #6 and I-195 - Rehoboth, Fall River, New Bedford,
Route #44 or Route #6 to I-195 west
Take Exit 3 (Gano Street - first exit immediately after crossing bridge)
NOTE:  If you are coming from farther than Swansea, Massachusetts
you will pass an Exit 3 in Massachusetts as well
Turn right at end of exit ramp onto Gano Street
Straight through one blinking light

At next traffic light, turn right onto Pitman Street
Continue two blocks and take a left at traffic light onto Butler Avenue
Eastside Marketplace on the right
Go six short blocks (through two traffic lights) to East Orchard Avenue
School will be on right
Turn right onto East Orchard Avenue
The red doors of the main entrance will be on your left near the flagpole

From Downtown Providence
Take Waterman Street up College Hill
Continue east on Waterman to traffic light at Butler Avenue
(Whole Foods Market on right)
Turn left onto Butler Avenue
Go five short blocks (thru one traffic light) to East Orchard Avenue
School will be on right

Turn right onto East Orchard Avenue
The red doors of the main entrance will be on your left near the flagpole
