Lower School Book Fair and Book Character Day

Lower School Book-Fair/Book Character Day

Thursday, February 28, and Friday, March 1 (Conference Day) are Book Fair Days in the Lower School Library. This year we are working with a new vendor, Best Book Fairs, and we are excited that they will be offering an amazing selection of books. You may want to visit their website (www.bestbookfairs.com) in order to see the books that they offer, you can also use it as a guide to know how much money to send and to plan with your child what books she might choose. Please keep in mind that not every title listed will be available but you can help your child avoid disappointment by selecting a larger range of titles than you expect her to buy.

The used-book side of the Bookfair has always been extremely popular among those wishing to purchase. I am still welcoming any children's books you want to give away and am hoping to gather enough to make a quality sale. The used books will sell for $.50 (paperbacks) and $1.00 (hardcovers).

I imagine your children have not let you forget that Bookfair Day is also Book Character Day. We are all looking forward to seeing each other dressed as favorite book characters. And this year we will be having a Book Character Parade at 8:15 in the Lower School, please join us if you are available.

Please feel free to stop by the Bookfair at any time during the school day. I hope to see many of you at this exciting event.
