The 4th Grade participated in Colonial Sampler Day this past Friday where they showcased their research projects on colonial America and had the opportunity to sample some traditional activities that would have been practiced during that time.
Last Thursday the entire Middle School traveled to Exchange City, an experiential learning program facilitated by Education in Action and located in Providence that gives students a basic understanding of government, economics, and financial literacy in addition to workforce skills.
Director of Technology, Upper School Robotics Teacher, and Middle and Upper School Girls Who Code Clubs Advisor Doug Alexander acknowledged for his support and encouragement of young women's interest in computing and information technology!
Leah Tinberg '12 clearly remembers the day in 2010 when she announced to her Lincoln robotics teacher, Doug Alexander, "I know what I want to do with my life! I'm going to do robotics...for space!" Fast forward to this summer when Leah will be working at NASA Langley, realizing her dreams.
