Lower School Extended Day
Lincoln Lower School students may arrive to school beginning at 7:30 a.m. They are welcome to join their friends in the Lower School Library under the supervision of two Lincoln faculty members. Morning Extended Day is available from 7:30–8:00 a.m. and is free of charge.
Please note: If you arrive earlier than 7:30 a.m., we ask you to accompany your child and wait at Mrs. Donnelly's desk until an Extended Day teacher arrives at 7:30 a.m.
Lincoln School offers a diverse and engaging after-school program every afternoon from 3:15–5:30 p.m.
The Tree House is available to all Lower School students. The daily program consists of supervised indoor and outdoor play and projects. Students in Grades 3–5 attend the Homework Club from 3:20 - 4:15 p.m. followed by an opportunity to play. Our program celebrates the importance of play for all children. We believe that students benefit when they play and learn with multiple age levels. Developing skills across a spectrum of ages and abilities, younger students may try new skills earlier while older students gain a sense of responsibility and empathy as student leaders.
Please provide your child with a healthy snack to be eaten when they arrive at The Tree House or before an After School Enrichment Program.
The Tree House is open from dismissal until 5:30 p.m. daily.
You can sign up for specific days or send a note with your child on the day that he/she will be attending. Payment for the Tree House will be billed through your FACTS account.
Students in Grades 3–5 will have an opportunity to work on their homework under the supervision of a Lower School faculty member. We are offering Homework Club by the day Mondays–Thursdays. You may opt to enroll your daughter in homework club one day a week or all four days. The fees per session are outlined below and students who have signed up for this option, must be picked up promptly at 4:20.
Lincoln offers enrichment classes in three sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring) through our After School Enrichment Program (ASEP). These classes are designed to provide children with enjoyable experiences in a variety of areas including music lessons, creative arts, sciences, languages, and athletics. Taught by Lincoln teachers and other experienced professionals, the courses are aimed at a variety of age and interest levels. After School Enrichment Programs require separate enrollment and fees.
