The test is administered through the American Classical League (ACL) and the National Junior Classical League (NJCL). 2012 National Spanish Exam

Congratulations!  Students from Lincoln School earned a total of 14 gold, 13 silver and 13 bronze medals  “Attaining a medal for any student on the National Spanish Examinations is very prestigious,” said Kevin Cessna-Buscemi, National Director of the Exams, “because the exams are the largest of their kind in the United States with 143,641 students participating in 2012.”  39 students also attained Honorable Mention this year.  The State of Rhode Island also awards the top three students in each level and category.

How to interpret score:

National Percentiles - this score indicates the performance of a student in relationship to the performance of other students nationwide, specifically those in the same level and category. (For example, if a Level 3 student in the Regular category receives a National Percentile of 84, this score indicates that the student answered more test items correctly than 84 percent of Level 3 students in the Regular category nationwide).
