Don't Miss

Texting, Case Western Reserve University, Neilsen and Sax -- What do they have in common?

We are delighted that Dr. Leonard Sax will be at Lincoln on January 6, at 7:00 p.m.  He has shared with us his blog in Psychology Today regarding recent research at Case Western Reserve University and the Neilsen Corporation on the cyber-bubble and its effects on teens.  His lecture at Lincoln, "Girls on the Edge," the same title as his recent book, will focus on the factors in our culture that put girls at risk.  Florence Hilliard, Director of the Gender Studies Project, University of Wisconsin–Madison, praises Dr. Sax, who, "combines years of experience with compelling research and common sense to intelligently challenge the status quo of what it means to raise a healthy daughter. Girls on the Edge offers skills parents can incorporate to feel more competent with our girls and young women.”

Every parent raising a daughter (or son, for that matter) should hear what Dr. Sax has to say.
