Dear Lincoln Families,

The sights and sounds of school preparations are so soothing and sumptuous to this “schoolaholic.”   Happy greetings between reuniting girls trying out for fall sports, teachers sharing news of their summers, the delivery of supplies, the phone calls about schedules – it’s late August and I am starting my forty-sixth first day of school.  Fourth grader Sammy Rockwell ’19 said before her first day of kindergarten, “This is the day I have been waiting for all my life!” My sentiments exactly.

We are so looking forward to welcoming you all – not back, but forward – to a new year at Lincoln.  Please take some time to read through the first of our regularly scheduled weekly E-newsletters that are published on Thursdays.  I ask that you pay special attention to the traffic and parking links.  Remember, Lincoln is located in an intimate residential neighborhood and we have worked hard to forge a strong relationship that continues to benefit from open and cordial communication between our school community and our neighbors.
