| | Issue IV | January 2012 | | | Dear Lincoln Alumnae, Happy 2012! The Alumnae Board is looking forward to a wonderful year for Lincoln alumnae to reconnect in your hometowns and on the Lincoln campus in Providence and at Faxon Farm. I hope you enjoy this issue of the Green & White highlighting upcoming events, Alumnae & Reunion Weekend 2012, the Faxon Farm Renovation, and athletics at Lincoln today. As you are filling in dates for 2012, please take a moment to check out the Lincoln Alumnae Calendar of Events and save the dates! In addition, I would like to send out a special call to alumnae in classes ending in 2s and 7s to save the date for the 2012 Alumnae and Reunion Weekend, which will take place on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13, 2012. As a reunion chair myself, I am looking forward to working with this year’s Reunion Committee to organize a series of events for everyone to enjoy. I would like to extend a special thanks to the 2012 Reunion Committee for their leadership and support. If you are celebrating your reunion this year, please share your ideas and thoughts to help with our planning. We are also seeking nominations for the 2012 Alumnae Awards that will be presented at the Alumnae Luncheon on Friday, October 12. For more information about the Awards and past recipients, please click here. I would like to close by thanking all of our alumnae who have made a gift to the Annual Fund this school year. I look forward to seeing record alumnae participation, and many thanks to Erin Gilliat '92 for serving as the Alumnae Co-Chair for the 2011-12 Annual Fund. See you soon. It was the day after Morgan Stone Day, a daylong symposium of speakers and workshops focusing on diversity and globalization. As is customary in our unprogrammed Upper School Silent Meeting, we entered the Music Center in silence and centered down and into a number of minutes of silent reflection. Read more... Annual Fund Thank You By Joyce Botelho P'15, Assistant Director of Development and Alumnae Relations As we begin the new year, we would like to extend a warm and heartfelt thank you to all the members of the Lincoln alumnae community who have supported the 2011-2012 Annual Fund. We had a strong response to our end-of-the calendar year outreach with Annual Fund gifts now totaling more than $441,000 and will share a more detail report in February. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and is making a difference for students and faculty at Lincoln each and every day. If you have not made your gift to the Annual Fund, please take a moment to consider making your contribution to Lincoln today. Every gift counts in keeping us moving forward in reaching our goal of $660,000 by June 30! Click here to give. | |
