Lincoln School students gain confidence performing on stage and in concerts from an early age, both in the classroom and through larger performance groups. Performing arts are a required component in the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools. Each division also offers students several opportunities during the school year to create serious, fun, or wacky dramas.
Students also participate in larger productions—acting, writing, designing costumes, choreographing and staging shows ranging from A Midsummer Night’s Dream to modern classics like To Kill A Mockingbird to works by contemporary playwrights. The Middle and Upper Schools also produce musicals annually, most recently The Sound of Music and Shrek the Musical.
