Arts and Culture
Whether it’s through the stroke of a paintbrush, the lens of a camera, or a role in a performance, girls’ creative talents can shine at Lincoln. Our visual and performing arts opportunities invite students to move beyond the boundaries of the expected, develop new skills, and harness the power of their imaginations to explore ideas, tell stories, and inspire others.
The arts are woven into the fabric of Lincoln, starting in the Little School, where students explore and create in our Reggio Emilia Studio. In the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools, students participate in art exhibits, concerts, photography shows, plays, and dance recitals. Programs including the Rhode Island Festival of Children’s Books and Authors , Shakespeare in the City, and the immersion program at The Steel Yard allow students to connect with the wider community through creativity.
