Through our partnership with the Rhode Island School of Design, the nation's leading art and design school, Upper School students at Lincoln have the opportunity to enroll in a college-level, credit-bearing course at the School of Architecture on RISD's sprawling campus in the heart of downtown Providence. During their time there, students research the history of architecture (and in particular women architects past and present), learn about architectural tools and methods, and gain practical skills in order to brainstorm, sketch, build, and present mock-ups of their own designs.
Along the way, they sharpen their creative problem solving and collaboration skills.
