Apply to Upper School
Thank you for your interest in applying to Lincoln School. The Admission Committee carefully considers a candidate’s academic achievements, standardized test scores, extracurricular interests and talents, citizenship, and future potential.
The Application Deadline for the first round of admission decisions is February 15, 2018. After this date, Lincoln will consider applications through a rolling admissions process if space remains available.
1. Online Inquiry
Complete the Inquire Online form to start the application process.
Once complete, a user name will be provided via email to access to Lincoln’s online Admission Portal.
2. Complete the Admission Application
Upon receiving access to the online Admission Portal, complete the various sections of the application online. The portal also allows you to track the status of an application. A non-refundable $55 fee is required..
3. Schedule a Student Visit Day and Parent Tour
The best way to experience Lincoln School is by visiting. Every applicant is required to spend a day visiting classes with student hosts, where she will have the opportunity to meet future classmates and participate in class. Parents are invited to tour the campus and talk with an admission representative. Please contact the Admission Office @ 331-9696 x 3157 or email@example.com to schedule a visit and tour.
4. Short Responses Form
Tell us about yourself! There is no right or wrong answer to this form.
5. Transcript Release Form
Parent/guardians of applicants to Grades 6-12 must sign and submit to the applicant's current school a Transcript Release Form. This official school transcript should be sent directly from the child's current school to Lincoln School via email, fax, or mail. Two and a half years of information should be provided.
6. Teacher Recommendation.
We want to learn more about you from those who know you best. A recommendation is required from current English and Mathematics teachers. Although not required, additional letters of recommendation from individuals who know the applicant well (coach, religious leader, performing arts instructor, etc.) are welcome.
7. Standardized Testing
Test scores from either the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test, www.ssat.org) or the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam, www.iseetest.org) are required. These exams can be taken at any location.
